All 3 and 4 year old children in England are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare funding per week for 38 weeks of the year. This is made available to you at the start of the term following your child's 3rd birthday.
Certain families may be entitled to a further fifteen hours of funding for a total of 30 hours per week. To check if you may be eligible, please follow this link for a step-by-step guide: https://www.gov.uk/apply-30-hours-free-tax-free-childcare
We accept all forms of childcare funding, including 15 and 30 hour government funding, as well as tax-free childcare vouchers.
Other minor fees may apply to children that are utilizing funded hours, such as the Snacks & Consumables Charge.
It is absolutely no problem if your child is not yet toilet trained, we simply ask that you provide us with enough spare nappies for your child during their time with us.
We are incredibly flexible with toilet training, and are more than happy to support you and your child with this when the time comes!
We provide a morning and afternoon snack bar for the children each day from 10 AM and 3 PM respectively. This normally consists of a range of different fruits, milk, water, and some variety of carbohydrate snack, such as bread-sticks, crackers, crumpets, bagels, malt-loaf, etc.
We also provide a high tea and pudding each day for the children that stay with us beyond 4 PM. We make use of a seasonal menu, and offer meals such as beans on toast, pasta, and sandwiches.
We all eat lunch together at 12 PM, and children that are with us for this session each bring in a packed lunch from home. Advice on creating a healthy and tasty lunch can be found here: https://littledelwood.com/lunchbox-ideas
